Good Friday? What’s good about it? Jesus died a horrible death on the cross. He’s dead and headed for a borrowed grave. To find what’s good we go back to His cry, “it is finished!” All of my sins have been atoned for. Paul said he was the chief of sinners. The only reason he could say this was I hadn’t been born yet! Oh my when I consider the enormity of my sins I shudder, but He said “it is finished”. Yes, it is Good Friday for me and other forgiven sinners. Come tonight for 7 pm worship at LBBC. Come as you are.
