Our son is in Paris, where he enjoyed snails (escargot). Yuck! My wife and I - in Germany - had dinner with a couple who served snails. We looked at each other. What are we to do? We’re country bumpkins. The couple was gracious and forgave us. Whether we eat or drink or whatever - do it for the Lord. It is not what we eat or drink that defiles us, but what emerges. Let our thoughts, our words, our actions be pleasing to you, our Lord and Saviour, amen.
