At Walmart shopping (social occasion.. love it) phone rings. A lady says, “One of your deacons said you could help me. I have to go to Augusta to pick up my son. 15 years old - who has just had surgery. Can you help me?” In my wallet there was an honorarium from a recent funeral. I stammered. A bell rang in my mind. No, it was a gong. God said to whom does everything belong? You Lord, and I know we’re to use these resources to worship You and to bless others in Your name. Long story, she met me, and I gave her some of God’s resources. Oh I learned they don’t have a church home. The visitation team from LBBC on the way. I’m not a hero. Still learning that God is in charge. He has a plan and a way. They need a church family. Amen.😇
